Evan B. Peters is an American filmmaker whose career began on stage at age ten in Arizona community theatre. He continued acting into his teenage years while attending the Youth Performing Arts High School in Louisville, KY. Drawing from his experience in theatre and his study of cinema's greats, Peters wrote, produced, directed, shot, and edited his first feature film at 16: Wheelchair Defender, a groundbreaking mockumentary about video gamers that pioneered the use of in-game acting and sequences to tell a cinematic story, featuring a cast of 23. The film premiered at the inaugural World Series of Video Games tournament, marking a milestone in the intersection of gaming and independent cinema.
His second project, The Poster - a Twilight Zone-inspired short film - won Best Science Fiction Short Film (USA) at the 2008 New York International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles. In the years since, Peters has filmed and edited two feature films and directed numerous music videos, commercials, and short films.
